NEN, NEderlandse Norm, was founded in 1916 and has been working on standardization ever since. As of 2018, NEN manages around 34.000 standards which includes international (ISO, IEC), European (EN) and Dutch (NEN) standards. Standardization is a key element for our customers to connect their supply chains. ChainPoint is therefore an active member of the Chain of Custody committee (ISO/PC 308) where ChainPoint is working with multiple stakeholders on a horizontal ISO Chain of Custody Standard. The goal is to create a standard that is applicable to all sectors, raw materials and issues with specific CoC requirements for individual supply chain actors.
