FairMatch Support

FairMatch Support develops sustainable supply chains. From their offices in The Netherlands and West Africa, FMS supports companies in finding new sources and producers in finding new markets.

Present where the chain link is weakest, their underlying philosophy is: high quality standards, realistic profit distribution and long-term collaboration. A worldwide network of local partner organisations is an integral part of the FairMatch Support organisation.

NEN

NEN, NEderlandse Norm, was founded in 1916 and has been working on standardization ever since. As of 2018 2019, NEN manages around 34.000 over 36.000 standards which includes international (ISO, IEC), European (EN) and Dutch (NEN) standards

Standardization is a key element for our customers to connect their supply chains. ChainPoint is therefore an active member of the Chain of Custody committee (ISO/PC 308) where ChainPoint is working with multiple stakeholders on a horizontal ISO Chain of Custody Standard. The goal is to create a standards that is are applicable to all sectors, raw materials and issues with specific CoC requirements for individual supply chain actors.

ISEAL

ISEAL represents the movement of credible and innovative sustainability standards. ISEAL’s mission is to strengthen sustainability standards for the benefit of people and the environment. Its membership is open to all multi-stakeholder sustainability standards and accreditation bodies that demonstrate their ability to meet the ISEAL Codes of Good Practice and accompanying requirements, and commit to learning and improving.

Through membership in ISEAL, standards systems show a commitment to supporting a unified movement of sustainability standards.

GIQS

GIQS was founded to act as a project holder for a Dutch-German collaborative Research and development project within the EU INTERREG IIIA programme of the Euregio Rhine Waal in 2001. The work was so successful that various partners within GIQS are now working in different projects along the Dutch-German border region and beyond. For its innovative role in knowledge transfer between business and science GIQS was awarded with the cooperation prize for Food Processing of the federal state North Rhine-Westfalia (D). Meanwhile GIQS is widely recognised as a dynamic institution for the facilitation of collaborative research and development in agriculture and food.
